Interested in a Bus Driver Position?

Western Heights Public Schools is hiring full-time Bus Drivers to safely transport students to and from school and school-related activities. Drivers follow set routes and schedules, maintain student safety, and help ensure daily school operations run smoothly. This is a full-time position that includes district employment and benefits, along with consistent work during the school year.

Job Requirements

Valid B CDL with passenger endorsement and bus driver certificate

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience

At least 18 years old

Experience working with children preferred

Ability to pass required district tests and annual physical

Acceptable motor vehicle driving record

Ability to follow safety rules, schedules, and district policies

Strong basic communication skills

Dependable, punctual, and professional attitude

Western Heights Public Schools is also hiring full-time Special Education teachers. These roles focus on instructing and supporting students in accordance with state and district education standards. Special Education teachers work directly with students, families, and school staff to create a positive learning environment and help students succeed academically and socially. This is a full-time position with district employment and benefits.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Education (minimum)

State licensure or certification

Completion of student teaching

Demonstrated content knowledge (as required by ESSA standards)

Ability to maintain a positive and structured learning environment

Strong communication and problem-solving skills
